Hey! After you download it manually, you can set the path to it in
Editor -> Editor Settings -> Rivet. Can you give that a try and let me know if it works?i downloaded the plugin-godot and copied the rivet sub-folder's path, but the window is still the same

i used this path : C:\Users\MYUSER\Downloads\plugin-godot-1.3.1\addons\rivet
After you set the path in settings, you might need to restart Godot for this to take effect
i did it a couple of times
Are you on windows?
Can you send a screenshot of the Rivet settings window, and turn debug on in there?

Oh I think I know what's going on
We need to download the rivet-cli instead of the plugin-godot to be linked to
i downloaded the rivet cli
Did you put it in this folder?
the folder s name is plugin-godot
yes
Ah I see
Maybe we can see from powershell if it is able to run, let me get a command for that
ok
C:\Users\forest\Documents\rivet-cli.exe --version Ok I was able to run this
let's change it to yours
C:\Users\studi\Downloads\plugin-godot-1.3.1\addons\rivet\rivet-cli.exe --verion
What does that do?uh it doesnt recognize it as a command
maybe i could put version berfore the path?
Also, out of curiosity, which antivirus prevents this from running? I'm curious on how I can set it up to work better with antivirus programs
um Kaspersky
It should be after the path since that's how powershell accepts it
If it doesn't recognize it, then I think the cli might not be there
can you send a screenshot of the folder where you put
rivet-cli.exe?wait. ill redownload it
could you send me the repo, please?
Sounds good 🙂

Awesome :ferrisBongo:
it works!
tysm
for your support!
Awesome! I'll try and get the proper installer working since it will get quite annoying to do every time you update the plugin 😛
Hmm I wonder if we should just make a second plugin that contains the CLI (or just have it in our main plugin?)
idk🫠. You decide if it s best for you and your team and could be at the same time easier for the users! 🙂
Ya, I definitely think it would make some stuff a lot easier, since installing a plugin through the asset store is way easier than downloading an exe
