Is there a way to get distant horizons to render darker?

I'm using a datapack that sets the dimension sky light level to 0 and I notice that Distant Horisons is rendering distant terrain at a higher light level than intended. Is there a setting I could use to fix this?

you can change the brightness multiplier there
