Detailed stats about Data Transfer (egress)
Hello,
Is it possible to view detailed statistics about Data Transfer on Neon.Tech (either via API or on website). I am on the Free Tier and would like to know which endpoints/databases or tables use most data, so I can get a better understanding and thus being to optimise the usage. Also, egress data, is data that leaves neon.tech (such as db 'reads'), and NOT also data that is coming in (such as 'writes'), is this correct?

Thanks for the reply @Mahmoud I did get this email just a few days ago: Dear Neon User,
We are following up on our Changelog update from April 26th which announced that starting on May 1st Neon's fair usage policy would cover data transfer in order to limit abuse of the platform. The limit is 5GiB of data transfer per user per month. As a friendly reminder, our paid plans do not charge for data transfer.
Because we wanted to provide more time for our users to make adjustments, the 5 GiB data transfer limit has not yet been applied. Starting July 1st, this limit will apply to all free users.
Please take a moment to adjust your usage or upgrade to one of our paid plans.

What happens to people on free tier when egress is finished. Does it shut off our servicess?

@Idaresit Yes, it shuts off the services immediately, just like that. No warning, no email sent. I got cut off, luckily, late in the evening, so there was minimal disruption to my business. I had to work all night in order to migrate the 4 databases to Fly.io, and make sure everything is functional with the new provider and thus be ready by morning.

You should be receiving usage alert emails as your bandwidth approaches the limit, can you dm me your project ID and I will upgrade your limit to unblock you this month
