Whats the best service for hosting resource packs which offers a cdn?
or is just putting it on github the best approach for it

Well, why use any other approach I suppose?
GitHub is great for it I don't see any other reason not to use it
Already use GitHub for it yeah, but was just wondering if there was any specialised solution which would be better
If you're happy with Github then no need to change.
Both https://mc-packs.net/ and https://usercontent.smd.gg are viable options and are used by thousand(s). (the latter is operated by my wiki project)
