Double door datapack, change model or remove Iron nugget
Hi would it be possible to either change the animated door for another model, or only remove the iron nugget and don't use animated model?
I have always used vanilla tweaks 3D door models and would like to still use them is there a way to fix this?

I'm not entirely sure but I think it should just work with different textures. Have you tried it yet?
well if I put the animated texture over the vanilla tweaks on, the iron nuggets is still there, and if I put the animated texture pack under vanilla tweaks then both door models are active at the same time. as vanilla tweaks 3D doors change the model too I think it uses both somehow.
I think it has to do with how both change the model of the door, but I'm not sure
Oh well, that goes beyond my capabilities in datapacks/models
We'll have to wait for Miraculixx
yes, thank you for the reply anyway
It it technically possible, but you need to edit the AnimatedDoors resource pack directly to override your desired door model for the item model. Sadly its not that simple to just add a new resource pack on top, cause it overrides the door instead of the item
so it's not easy to remove just the iron ingot either?
I you want to hide the ingot, you can just override the iron ingot texture or the given model datas (see in the iron_nugget.json file)
Hello, I have an issue.
I have fully, and I mean fully removed the Animated doors datapack, out of the world, out of the instance itself, fully deleted
yet the iron nuggets persist. I cannot fathom why this is the case, as there should be absolutely NO code remaining that does anything in that capacity
I tried running the commands in your documentation, but they did nothing
it seems to only be persisting on double doors
interestingly, on removing the doors, the nuggets are still there, even after a reload
this is very strange
Hey, it is adviced to run the uninstall command before removing the datapack, as it removes any entities spawned by animated doors (like the iron nuggets above doors). If you already removed it, you need to run the kill command shown on Modrinth to remove them
I did run the kill command
it said the command was not recognised
You need to have cheats enabled in your world. You can do this temporary by opening the world to lan
Thank you. I apologise for being thick about it, but... This really isn't my area
Datapacks are still quite new to me over normal mods
No worries :)
