Changing Monitor Display Input causes KDE to Crash

I use a KVM to toggle between my desktop and work laptop.

Since I made the update to Nvidia drivers 555, I’m finally able to use Wayland, but now if I switch to my Work laptop, and back to Bazzite, KDE appears to crash (black desktop, and commands like ALT-F2 not working).

EDIT: this does not happen on X11, just confirmed.

Seems to be the only way out is to CTRL-ALT-F4, login with my user, and
sudo reboot
sudo reboot
.
