Anyone have any experience getting silver blue installed on a surface laptop 4? There’s this weird issue where after selecting the os installer in grub, it freezes and requires a hard reset.

KToday. I read a possibility about it being a firmware issue with Microsoft. I installed win11 and force downgraded the firmware, but it didn’t seem to resolve the issue. It only happens with fedora. I am able to install Ubuntu, arch, etc
MNot sure how to help then. I know there were some issues with different surface devices. We use the surface-kernel from Linux surface project for the image.
If it's the iso causing fits, it should just be a generic fedora image.

KFor the ISO, I even tried the fedora branded iso generator. No luck
KThe ISO works in other machines though
MHave you tried regular fedora silverblue's installer?
KYes. Same issue. I also tried a fedora workstation 39… no luck.
KI’m going onto install workstation 38 and see if that works.
KIf so, I may be able to update and transition into silver blue
K38 refuses to pull from the website.
KNobara is installing. I’m going to try that script to swap over to silver blue
