digiKam has no Baloo option?
I'm unsure if this is a Bazzite issue but I can't find anything online about this. In the metadata settings for digiKam, there is no Baloo option so that I would be able to see the image's tags in Dolphin. This option is in the digiKam documentation. I have digiKam installed as a flatpak.
