whys my valorant ping suddenly so high?

i havent played in 3 days and now my avg ping in my best region is suddenly higher by nearly 20 ping. my ping in illinois used to be around 33 but now it goes from 45-70. my ping went up in all regions i just want my best ping to be back to the way it was
