Colors Series: Pink - Topic of the day 7/27/24
Pink is the color of a namesake flower that is a pale tint of red. It was first used as a color name in the late 17th century. It's symbolism can differ by location; in Western cultures pink is the color most often associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood and romance, whereas in other cultures pink can represent trust, stimulation, excitement, and the start of spring. Despite its present associations with femininity in modern Western cultures, it has historically also been seen as a gender-neutral or masculine color.
