Switch to Desktop doesn't switch to Gnome desktop

Hello! I just installed Bazzite on a GPD Win Max 2 (2023). It was working pretty great, but then I switched to steam mode (also worked great). Now "power -> Switch to Desktop" logs out and right back to steam mode. How do i get this to return to Gnome again?!?!
