Updated my distant horizen mod and my game keeps crashing

I am hosting a multiplayer world with my friends and I recently updated my distant horizen mod via the prompt when i opened the game, since then my game crashes a second or two after I load into the server. we are running on fabric server in 1.20.6.

It’s auto updating to dh 2.1.3-a which is incompatible with iris

Remove the current dh and redownload from modrinth

Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.

We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait.

If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.
