I've asked if otel sql spans will be supported in their newly announced collector. (can link if you want the announce)
e/sqlThe postgresql span created by Opentelemetry doesn’t have its query displayed in the “SQL queries” tab of the flame-graph as this tab is a Database Monitoring (DBM) one and DBM interoperability with Open-telemetry is currently not supported.
