Partially formal event outfit
I'm supposed to be going to this event on Monday that's like semi-formal, semi-casual. It's leaning towards the casual side but everyone wants to look nice.
I'm trying to put together an outfit that doesn't look too formal and out of place, but also casual and have a bit of a rugged look.
This is what I've come up with so far based on what's my wardrobe. I was planning to wear it with jeans.
A few friends who I ran it by first said they think the tie is too loud and the materials (I'm assuming the shirt and the canvas shirt-jac) don't match.
So I'm sending this here so that I can get some of yalls thoughts as well as some advice and pointers.
