Dark areas on distant LODs (no Starlight)

Any idea what's causing this? Singleplayer, Fresh LOD generation, no Starlight or any other lighting mods as far as I'm aware. Shows up with or without shaders.
Mod list includes

• C2ME
• Sodium
• Indium
• Lithium
• Noisium
• Iris
  MC is 1.20.4, DH is 1.21.2
