Bazzite on Ally X - On-Screen-Keyboard issues in Desktop-Mode

Coming from a SD OLED, I wanted to have a similar experience and gave Bazzite 3.6 a try.
Most things are working as expected but I'm having issues with the OSK in KDE / Desktop.
I'm using the Steam provided OSK with a German layout and it is not possible to enter signs like '@' or '€'. From a behavior perspective it seems to invoke a 'Tab' because the cursor is jumping to the next UI element.
In Gaming-Mode, for instance when signing into Ubisoft, the keyboard is working as expected.
Is there anyone experiencing the same issue? I looked through the GitHub issues and I'm wondering that nobody else seem to have that issue.
