"Ridge wallet" or normal wallet?
I'm in the city planning to buy a new wallet. But I can't decide if I should get a more traditional leather wallet or a ridge wallet like wallet. I don't mean that specific brand but it's one with an aluminium case for 6 cards and then a flimsy plastic flap for paper money. And it's covered in real leather. From Secrid but I'm not sure how well known that one is.
What one would you choose?

They make slim wallets too
Like these
Yeah but they're not that convenient for Europe. We use coins, A LOT
Everything is cards in UK sadly
I used to have one like this
Holds pretty much everything
Cards. Cash. Coins.
Never regretted it. Except its a bit big
Its simple: If you personally need/use cash and esp. coins on a regular basis get a traditional wallet. Otherwise a ridge wallet is prolly fine
I live in germany and would be lost with a ridge wallet
Would be lost as in can't use it? Sorry, English isn't entirely my native language so not sure what you mean
I would find it very impractical to have a ridge wallet bc i need space for coins personally
I don't use coins or cash but have a more traditional wallet because it looks/feels better
I have two wallets currently. one for cards and emergency cash and the other contains just something in case of pickpockets
I lost my wallet and decided to just use one of these until I got annoyed by it and had to get a new wallet. Hasn't happened yet. They're super cheap on Amazon so worth a go.
