no you dont i installed cinnamon without a fork or a custom image
i just need the command to uninstall plasma

and your image is liable to break spectacurally now
OSTree based images like Bazzite have the desktop environment baked into the image itself. You cannot remove any packages that are included in the image. In order to have cinnamon be the only desktop environment, you would need to fork Bazzite.
