Issue with AirPods Sound Routing After Latest Update on ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro

I’m having an issue with my ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro. I use AirPods, and since the new update, there’s a problem. When I turn on the microphone to speak, the sound no longer comes through my AirPods; it plays through the phone instead. When the microphone is off, everything works fine.
Any idea how to fix this?
