I switched and couldn't believe how easy it was and how beautiful multi-tenant works with Turso.

Out of curiosity, what are the things you love about Turso, compared to D1, or in general liking about it?
Multi-tenancy aside since D1 doesn't provide it yet, what are other things you like more?
Multi-tenancy is the only reason I am using Turso. That's the only feature they have over D1.
I'd add more edge locations and the ability to select your datacenter for your primary instance are also keys for us. We're latency sensitive. The other key is being able to sync from a local app / desktop app to the primary instance being huge for us too since we run on web and desktop. A year or more ago I deeply went down the Mongo App Services path with their local DB being able to sync to the cloud DBs. But, a lot of what we tested just simply didn't work so we dropped Mongo completely bc of the issues around their user management in the app services features.
Have you tried using the location hints and they didn't work as you expected? Albeit, it will only work within the regions that provide Durable Objects, but you should still be able to influence roughly the location.
If by datacenter you mean like exact city location, then yeah that's not supported.
