Hi all, I'm thinking to buy my first pair of proper sneakers for casual use as part of my wardrobe overhaul process. I've been using running shoes all these years (like NB 880v12) but a lot of friends suggested I get a proper sneaker and not running shoes.
I did try loafers as well and I liked them, so I'd order them later as well. I was looking to have a good bit of it in white/similar color as both my other running shoes are in black and I was told whites go well with a lot of clothing, is this true?
For sneakers, nike does have their official stores here in India and the air force 1 felt most comfortable to me (similar cushiony feel to my running shoes)
1) Should I just get this air force 1 or is there some other brand I should also look into? (adidas sambas and asics felt sort of crampy and so did dunks, air force series felt comfy)
I just have 2 pairs of shoes at present (both running - one for daily use, one for gym)
2) Would this color scheme be versatile for general purpose use for casual events? White vs Pale Bone also felt confusing to me
3) The only pants I have are blue and black jeans and a beige trouser (example of my beige pant attached to this post as I had gone to a local Nike to try on for comfort and only their air force series had the cushion similar to running shoes) I do like browns/whites and blacks so I was thinking around these colors but if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. The usecase would be casual outings with friends or to office i.e. not something flashy
4) My running shoes are size 9.5 2E, the one I tried in store was size 9, it did fit me but unsure if I should order 9.5, the stores here don't have 0.5 increments
Thanks in advance for any advice!
