Got this trench coat from an Carousell for cheap. Why doesn't the material feels waterproof?

It's cheap tho
Trench Coats aren't traditionally waterproof, they're water resistant at best.
Hard to say how this looks without seeing you wearing an outfit with it .

Nobody is gonna roast you. There might be constructive feedback about what does and doesnt work but nobody is gonna make fun of you (and if they do they usually get the hammer)
