in terms of accurate hours I'm not entirely sure, but I started building it on aug 1st and finished sep 22
there were some days I didn't build on, but when I did build I'd build for about 1-3 hours a day, sometimes more depending on my motivation

I've done so many maps atp that I don't really mind which maps I choose lol
I've done haven, pearl, lotus, ascent and now abyss
he did make his own variation of abyss, but my build isn't the same as his. i started building it way before him but since my motivation was on and off i ended up finishing it on the same day as he did coincidentally enough
stan didn't do the surrounding terrain or the vyse chamber
when you look closer there are some details he's done better or differently such as the coloruing and the rock patterns that go down abyss

funnily enough i felt my crosshair placement improved from being in customs on the maps i remade lmao
measuring out each angle does that to you, because now my mind interprets certain angles as 'well, a minecraft player would be at this height so ik where to aim'

I used a tool called axiom to create the terrain, it took quite a while
