No temperature control soldering iron
Is it possible to solder the nice nano with a soldering iron that goes up to 470°c and a little vaseline without damaging the components?

Using a soldering iron that reaches up to 470°C can be risky for soldering delicate components like the nice!nano. While it's technically possible to solder with such a high temperature, it increases the likelihood of damaging the components due to overheating.
It's recommended to use a temperature-controlled soldering iron set to a lower temperature, typically around 350°C, which is more suitable for soldering small electronic components. Additionally, using vaseline is not a standard practice for soldering and may not provide the desired protection.
If you must use a higher temperature, ensure you work quickly and apply heat only to the necessary areas to minimize the risk of damage. However, for the best results and to avoid potential issues, investing in a temperature-controlled soldering iron is advisable.
