Legion Go sound volume issues

Hi,

I have been having some issues with the sound in the Legion go.
To set the context, I have installed Bazzite version 40, but kept the system up to date with topgrade.
Also, I dual boot and go to desktop mode a lot.
I am also aware that in the Legion go, there is an alias audio device called "Legio Go", and that I need to keep the Family 17h device at max volume for the whole thing to behave normally.

here are the problems I found:
1. whenever I reboot the system, the sound device in gamescope changes from "Legion Go" to the Family 17h.. device even though I did the recommended procedure of setting "Legio Go" as the default device in desktop mode.
Which means that at every reboot, or every time I get back from desktop mode I need to get to settings and set Legio Go as the audio device.

2. problem number 2 is even stranger. Sometimes I go to windows, and when coming back to Bazzite, the volumes are all very low.
I go to settings, and the volume of device Family 17h seems to be at maximum, but I have to move it, and then I get the real level. Some hardware setting must be at play.

Problem number 2 is harder to solve, but problem number would be nice to get sorted. I can provide any diagnostics as required. I know how Linux works, but the latest developments in the sound department are harder to keep track of...

Thanks,
Nuno
