Using zaraz ecom
It seems to mutate the fields to match the integration payload

Pretty much so. Zaraz Ecommerce provides a standard set of events and parameters that can be used by tools within it's implementation. Since the names are standardized component authors like us get to assign these however it is relevant to individual tools. This prevents having to learn and send different parameter and event names for every tool.
But this is very limited. The ecommerce events that zaraz sends to Meta are just called "Checkout Step Viewed" or something, which creates custom events in meta. The actual events that matter like Purchase, Subscribe, StartTrial do not seem to be supported.
I've commented in the channel about it to really get down to the bottom of this and solve it.
