secure boot w/o disabling CSM

probably asked on numerous occasions but i need to disable secure boot, however disabling CSM leads to everything not being detected (monitors don't display anything, keyboard + mouse have no inputs, etc.)
any way to turn on secure boot without disabling CSM? would be greatly appreciated.
