No grub after installation, only Windows

Hello, I just installed Bazzite on a Windows laptop. Followed some installation instructions I found: - shrunk the main partition - created a 300 MiB EFI partition in the installer, mointpoint /boot/efi - created a 1 GiB ext4 partition, mointpoint /boot - created a btrfs partition with the remainder, mointpoint / - finished the installation and rebooted the system But it only boots back straight into Windows. No option in the boot menu. Tried booting into the installation stick again, selected troubleshooting, rescue Bazzite installation. But it said "no Linux found" and gave me a shell. What can I do to boot into Bazzite?

Maybe I should have left it at automatic. Might redo it that way, see if it fixes it.

What type of machine are you installing Bazzite on? There was someone with a Asus laptop (iirc) that had to explicitly add the Fedora EFI entry in the BIOS for it to boot Bazzite.

It's a 2017 Acer Spin 5 SP513, the BIOS options are very limited, took me a while to figure out how to boot from the stick.

Are you sure that you have secure boot disabled? Looks like you need to set a BIOS password to disable secure boot (which is weird) but it could explain why the Bazzite installer is booting but you are not getting a boot option for Bazzite after it's installed. Found this thread for installing Ubuntu. If you follow up until the secure boot part, might help https://sciactive.com/2020/12/04/how-to-install-ubuntu-on-acer-spin-5-sp513-54n-for-the-perfect-linux-2-in-1/

Yes, disabled secure boot before installation. Yes I need to set a password to switch that around. But I'm taking a look at that guide, maybe it does contain a hint. Sadly, my Acer doesn't have a bunch of hidden bios settings. Also the rest didn't give me new insights either. Performed a second installation with "automatic" option and that gives me the same results. Might have to buy a new SATA m.2 SSD (don't want to delete the Windows installation). The current one is tiny anyway. 128GB.
