anyone got any recs for a winter quilted jacket

doesn't have be rated for serious cold - anything down to -5 C is fine - i like the equestrian quilted look - looking for recommendations for quality, value, and warmth - also fit Thanks

Barbour does quilted jackets. Warmth is subjective, all depends on how hot you run and how you layer underneath

Within Barbour - look for Powell - relatively warm compared to Chelsea Flyweight etc. (has heavier versions as well). Although I myself am looking for something in diamond quilt - but with Down insulation. Would wait for others to pitch in on the same.

you could get a down liner jacket and fit it under basically anything

I own Flyweight Chelsea - wanted a lighter one at that time. And it certainly fits boxy. Powell fit should be similar in my opinion. Yes, usually layer a zip cardigan under as it gets colder. Should've given down liner/ vest a try.
