Usually when this is the case, the game wants to open a browser popup to authorize your account. Please make sure your default browser is configured correctly

if nothing works setting up the browser (try different wines and with UMU enabled), you can use winetricks to install ie8 inside the game prefix and that will make the browser show up, then you can copy/paste the URL into your real browser
