additional mice not being recognized right away
i can only use the default mouse (in this case the steam deck touchpad) now. opening steam makes the mouse unusable. (steam deck) unsure if it's a hardware issue. as i was writing this it fixed itself, but upon every boot it takes extra long to recognize additional mice. *desktop, just updated today
Solution
it has been fixed by opening and then closing the keyboard using the touchpad to close it.
