Does Heroic have the same security vulnerabilities as GOG Galaxy?

I heard that Heroic uses GOG Galaxy under the hood for GOG integration. Does this mean that it will make your machine vulnerable to the same bugs that GOG Galaxy will, such as CVE-2020-24574?

It does not. GOG integration is done using gogdl and comet

Thanks for confirming! So from my understanding, Heroic shouldn't have the same issues since it isn't using the GalaxyClientService.exe. It just uses the GOG API through those libraries.
