Postgres error
Hi so I'm trying to move my postgres data from
/data/immich/postgres
To /mnt/drive/DATA/immich/config/postgres
And it's now spitting a bunch of permission errors
So I did
chmod 777 /postgres
And now the container won't start and my main disk is too full to move back15 Replies

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.

What’s the filesystem of your external drive?

Well is there a way to clear cache/backups or any unnecessary files on the postgres files so I can fit it back on the main drive
No, the Postgres is the size that it should be
The postgres files should only be a few GB at most
It's 10gb+
If that doesn't fit on your drive you have a different problem
You can look at pruning unused docker images etc
How many assets do you have?
Where do you see 10GB?

O wait I think my docker had a spasm and it's only 1gb
I'll try putting it back and seeing if it works
