This happens due to low player counts in the emulator space. Emulator players have a huge advantage over mobile players and are placed in an extra match pool.
You may try to play in the main hours during the day or try different modes depending on how long the wait time is.
I would suggest you switch to playing on a mobile device if possible or look at PUBG since this game is not designed for PC players.
