does anyone know if u strictly have to tap the opposite direction movement key when u wanna peekto

as in like holding d then tapping a, or can i just hold d, let go, and shoot?

you can, but since you come to a stop slower you will be inaccurate for longer after releasing D (assuming that you peek right) as opposed to tapping A
