Video Transcoding Playback in Linux and Firefox

Using V1.123.0 on Firefox on a Linux and/or Windows machine. Transcoded videos do not seem to work at all in either scenario. Unsupported video or corrupt video errors are all I get.
Also noticed that, on a Chrome browser inside of Linux, the videos audio will play but the video will be frozen. All that said, everything works perfectly on the Chrome browser on a Windows Machine. What might be happening here to cause this? I am using the default transcoding settings. I have Immich installed as a a docker on Unraid. I have tried a few additional transcoding settings all of which made no change.

It sounds like the transcoding jobs haven’t finished. Can you check the job panel if there are any active jobs? If not, then maybe they got lost if you recreated the redis container at some point. If that’s the case, try clicking “missing” next to “transcode videos”

No active jobs when checked. Clicked missing and now there are over 1000 waiting Transcode Videos task. Will let that do its thing and see what happens. Is there a way to see progress of active task anywhere?

If you set the log level to debug, it will print out progress and estimated time. But it’ll only take effect as of the next transcoding job (not the one running right now)
