Laptop Nvidia dGPU initialization issues
Hello there, folks! I’m here on behalf of a friend who’s having problems with initializing their dedicated GPU on a hybrid graphics laptop (an HP Victus 16-d0013dx, to be specific) with Bazzite.
I’ve worked with them on this but it seems the 3050 laptop dGPU they have doesn’t seem to be recognized by the system at all, even when supergfxctl is set to “hybrid” mode - they attempted to run Black Mesa but only got 5 FPS due to using the laptop’s iGPU.
Is there any way we could get the dGPU initialized and recognized by their Bazzite install?
Their nvidia-smi info is attached to this post if you need it.
