Divinity Origin Sin 2 does not start
Divinity origin sin 2 does not start. Game crashy after the launcher. There is only brief flash that something happens at the screen and then game just dies. This is in manjaro with KDE. Changeing the proton to wine does not help. Does anyone has any pointers where the problem could be?

PROTON_LOG=1 to app in environment variables section
Run with that once.

There is at least that error.
Game work in lutris, but it would be nice to get it working also in heroic.

try setting EoCApp.exe as an alternative exe for the game, lutris does that https://lutris.net/games/install/8954/view

I just tried the game, fresh install, proton-ge-latest + UMU and it ran with no changes, can you try this?
- go to settings in the sidebar > advanced > enable the UMU experimental feature
- delete the prefix folder
/home/masaro/pelit/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Divinity Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition
- make sure you are using proton-ge
- run the game again
