Black screen when playing Valorant
I just got back into playing Valorant yesterday, and it worked fine all day. However, today I ran into a problem.
When I was loading into a match (the loading screen after selecting my agent and seeing the other team's info), my screen would go black for about 5 seconds every 30 seconds to a minute. Then the game would come back like nothing happened.
At first, I thought it was because someone quit and I was being sent back to the main menu, but I realized that wasn’t it—the black screen kept happening during the match.
I’ve checked for updates on my drivers and Windows, and everything is up to date. My hardware also meets the requirements to run Valorant, so I’m not sure what’s causing this.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I couldn’t find anything helpful in the forums. Thanks in advance!
