Unattended uploads from phone
Hi, how can I set the Immich android app that it will upload even if the app is in background? I have tried all possible combinations of these settings, but every time I open a different app, the uploading stops.

Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.What is stopping is the foreground upload, you need to wait for the background job to start
Ah ok, so is it okay like that to leave it for the night and it will sync fine?
If it’s a big / initial sync you’ll need to keep it open
It might be a big upload, I don't know how many photos are left. I've uploaded around 1.7k photos, but after that, the remainder stays on 0, but there are still photos being uploaded
You can go into the App Settings > Advanced > Clear Duplicated then process the rest of the upload, it will match the number then
Are you also uploading via DNS or local IP
Right now I'm connected through a VPN, so should be a local IP if I'm not mistaken
VPN should be fine, but try local IP just to make sure everything go through first
