Heavy Rain Facial animation glitch playing with Epic games in Heroic Launcher

Please help me.
I have a game "Heavy Rain" in Epic games. and I want to play game in Steam Deack.
So I tried to play with Heroic Launcher.
But There is problem.
Problem is that all charactor facial animation repeat wierd.
I can't focus on playing game, because this is so funny. ㅜ_ㅜ
Anyway, I figure it out that "xaudio2_7.dll" file has problem. (I found it ProtonDB web site.)
So I put below code in Heroic launcher, but not working.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b"
When I try with "xaudio2_7=n" (it is mean Native), facial glitch is fixed, but no sound, though.
Please kindly help me.

lol. No. It is glitch. I can say, it is funnier much more than before. Character mouth dose not sync with their voice. and repeat wierd.

Oh, Ok, I understand. When I play Heavy Rain in Window 11, There was not glitch. It might be problem with Proton. Thanks. I will ask Pronton engineer. By the way, glitch is that all character facial movement is repeat weird when they talk. I found the reason and how to fix (as I wrote in post), but not working in Heroic. so I asked.

when I checked with WINECFG, it already has xaudio2_7.dll.
So I checked in WINETRICKS it has only xaudio29.
so I just installed xaudio29 as you mentioned.
But still same.
If I play with "xaudio2_7=n" -> it means 'native'
Facial bug is fixed, but there is not sound.
I think there is problem with transform n to b (native -> built in)
here is new log file.
Oh, there is Heavy rain Demo in Epic games, so you can play and check with that. Demo version has same problem.

interestingly, it seems to play as if there's 5.1 audio in stereo mode.. you can hear some voices on the left right channels but all the talking goes through the center, which doesnt exist
at least thats what it sounds like to me

no what i said is with the xaudio flag i can still hear voices but its pretty low as if there's no center channel

so yeah it sounds like its got the audio channels all messed up , so sure mouth moves right but its not playing the dialogue through the right audio channels

Oh.. That's weird. In steam deck, sound has no problem, but there is Facial animation bug. It's same when play with xaudio flag.

right this is what im saying is the case
except its not really mute its still audible if you listen carefully, its just very very quiet
as if its not playing on the right speaker channel

Oh.. In steam deck, That is not possible. As I attached screen shot, it can't catch any sound device. No sound output.

i think you are still misunderstanding me
i am experiencing the same as you, but i am pretty sure the sound is just very quiet not non existant, and im suggesting the problem is that the game doesnt know how to properly put audio on the right speaker channels

In my case, I can't hear any sound even with earphone.
Might be, I am too old..
Anyway, is there any solutions with Heroic??
