lego star wars skywalker saga cloud save
i started playing on my desktop and i want to continue that save data but it doesnt see my save data when i launch it.

depends on where you put the prefix

i picked download hit the sync button let it sit for a few seconds then hit x

did you ever upload it?
heroic doesnt enable cloud saves by default
on the device you want the save from go to the cloud save tab and click on upload, then on the device you want the cloud save on, click download

what? i was trying to get my save from my desktop
and be able to play on the steam deck
epic is post to automatically upload it to my knowledge

heroic does not auto sync by default you have to actually enable it.
so on your desktop you will need to go to the cloud saves folder and upload your save
then downloading onyour steam deck will work
once you have confirmed that all works, you can enable auto sync
heroic does it this way so as to not destroy your cloud saves if something is misconfigured

my desktop is windows and i thought heroic just used epics cloud saves
so i have to install heroic on my desktop to be able to use tue save data?

heroic does use epic's cloud save services, but downloading and uploading saves is handled by the client, so if you use heroic on your windows desktop then it has to be enabled
you dont need heroic to upload the saves if you are using epic's launcher on windows
so to be clear:are you using heroic in windows?
or are you using epic's launcher

make sure the save path is correct for this game in heroic's settings

it sounds lik eyou have misconfigured it.. just delete the manually set save location in heroic and let it regenerate it
it usually guesses the right location

on steam deck in desktop mode, right pad is mouse, left is scroll wheel right tirgger is left click, left trigger is right click.. that should be enough to copy text and paste it in discord

on your steam deck you can do a force download
so it will forcibly replace whatever's on the deck with whats on the cloud

yeah it means you overwrote the epic save on your steam deck
(aka you uploaded)
