https://0x0.st/8iSd.log I am experiencing stutters in this game cuz I'm running it natively, so I switched to Heroic but when I add the game and open the settings of the game in Heroic I can't find forcing proton use, although I have installed it using Heroic.

You're probably trying to run the Linux build, you need to install a Windows build if you want the options for Wine/Proton (the DX11 version ran fine under Wine-GE-Latest last time I tried it, btw)

but what if I want to use either proton or wine for the linux version.

wine/proton are for translating windows API calls, you don't need them when you're running a native app
