I mostly just like purple as an accent color though, compliments black and a lot of other colors well
Royal purple dress shirt with grey slacks was honestly my favorite outfit for most of my 20s. I rarely see it used in menswear (aside from a very muted lavender) and I've never been clear on why. Personally, I think it looks great on most people.
I used to be that one kid in primary school that used to wear a full purple fit every single day, me and purple go way back
Nowadays I love lilac, looks especially good with white and navy imo

Rare, made from sea snails, and associated with royalty. But now with synthetic dyes we can create the exact same color cheaply. How did that affect the way we perceive this color, its value, and how we contextualize it? This pattern of things that were valuable because they were rare becoming common and affordable repeats all the time and the social dynamics surrounding these transitions are fascinating
my only purple piece is this sfc net knit but its easily my fave summer top and really made me realize what i was doing wrong regarding summertime dressing.

i like blue-purple fits and garments, though i dislike how it's often just paired with gray, silver and black as the "interesting" bit; it seems kinda lazy to me
Only came in to say lavender is my favourite shade of purple.
Purple is also my fave as evidenced by having purple hair fairly often
purple is my favorite color, had purple hair for years and i think it worked well as a color pop, might bring it back
