Is there anyway to do EmulationStation + Retro Arch bypassing EMUDeck? (like you can in windows)
You can install RetroArch directly in steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/1118310/RetroArch/ if you don't want to install EMUDeck
For EmulationStation you can use the app image https://www.es-de.org/#Download and install it with Gear Lever
What is your use-case though? EMUDeck install too many things?
I find EMudeck to be to bloated and to complicated while I found that emulationstation and retro arch just seems to work and was super straight forward (on windows anyways)
Makes sense, too many things installed that you don't need/want to use. Let me know if you can install RetroArch and EmulationStation and everything works.
Okies!, Although I just woke up and Had to restart the machine because KDE was hard crashed to the point I couldn't do anything (Pure black desktop enivorment) is there anyway I can check if KDE is not curropted or something on my end?
Are you using Nvidia? Sometimes it has sleep issues
Yes I am... it seems almost every issue i'm having is because "Nvidia"
I ended up turning off the sleep/suspend and just have the turn off screen on my nvidia boxes
Any ideas what a AMD card equilvient that isn't a downgrade to a 3070TI would cost?
I'm not the right person to ask... I use hardware until it dies lol

ok so I have chrome set as default yet when I open links from telegram or discord its still opening it in firefox, how to fix thankies
chrome probably doesn't have permission to make change a system setting like changing the default application. Try change it explicity in the settings and see if that works

This is what I'm referring too, I went upstairs to shower and came down to this
Alt+Tabbing allows me to rotate to any window I currently have open
is there a short cut combination to open up the terminal so I can restart kde?
CTRL+ALT+T should open up the terminal. You might be able to start plasma with
startplasma-wayland not sure if that will work though
In the Powersettings maybe turn off dim screen and turn of screen and see if that makes a differenceI turned off dim, but ya the kde crashes have became more frequently since the latest kde updates
I use gated updates with nvidia. You run
bazzite-rollback-helper list you get a list of all the versions available then you run bazzite-rollback-helper rebase <insert version here> if an update is bad I just stick with the older version for another week. Your other software will update but you have to explicitly update the image. Very nice for finding which update made Bazzite unstable for you
recently though the latest has been pretty stable for me for quite a while nowsometimes nvidia flatpak driver can bork things too
full black screen sounds more like a full kde crash though. Or maybe a flatpak in front of the screen crashed. Difficult to tell
i didnt mean that flatpak caused that, but i have heard issue like flatpak not launching or behaving weird cause the driver is bugged
