Yo, this is the first time Im using this. whenever I try to boot up Sonic Mania the launcher says the games being played, then after a sec it goes back to saying "play"

maybe try disabling game mode? it's in game settings > other > Use GameMode (Feral Game Mode needs to be installed), uncheck that and try to run the game again
