Rebasing and Services / Daemons

If I rebase from a desktop image to a deck image. Will services that I’ve set up under KDE and apps like LACT that have a daemon running at startup to apply overclocks carry over to the Gamescope session? Or do I have to set them up under Gamescope somehow?

If so, how would one go about that?

when you rebase the services should stick around as long as the application is also on the image, if you had to reset the layers to remove local layers, then you might have to re-enabled services for those apps

systemd services you setup start when youre in gamemode, its how sunshine is set up for example

Thanks. So the service I have setup runs a cli application installed via brew and pipx. Will that need to be setup again? Or will it just work?

I believe LACT is a layered package. So that would be removed
In a rebase and re-installing it via desktop mode on the deck image should have it work?

Those applications are within /home which is not touched.
Worst case you just need to enable the service again. But you should not have to

And with lact at worst it's service gets disabled if you are forced to reset the layers
