have to reinstall vanguard?

so i got kicked from my valorant game (rip) and recieved an error message (forgot what it was specifically) and it told me to update by restarting my computer, my computer said there was a problem and force restarted, and now i have to supposedly reinstall vanguard for some reason can i get an explanation per chance of what happened, and can i bypass this reinstallation by restarting or something? i still see riot vanguard in my windows hidden icons
