Turmoil needs Firefox?
When I launch Turmoil it is just a white screen, then it pops up a message that reads "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." I click okay, and then I sit on a white screen. I have tried loading it offline, at which point I'm told I need to be online to play even in single player, and then the game closes down.
And Discord does not want me asking or uploading the log.

I could confirm I try this game and they need to link to your Epic Account but I dont know why it only works on FIrefox

make sure you have the EOS overlay installed and up to date, in my case it asked for the epic auth linking thing in game so no need to have a browser
click the 3-dots menu in the game details page > enable eos overlay

Now it starts, has a blank white page with a regular mouse, loads the game, tells me I need to be online, and then closes. https://0x0.st/8-tH.log
It looks like there's supposed to be a pop-up of some sort, but it's not at all visible.

in that white screen is where the EOS Overlay should show up the epic authentication
you are using a really old and incorrect wine
Wine - Wine-8.7-GE-1-LoL, this is old, and meant to be used ONLY for league of legends (that's the -LoL at the end)
try this:
- install wine-ge-latest in the Wine Manager (sidebar of heroic)
- set that up in the game's settings
- delete this folder /home/kamma/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Turmoil (it's the prefix, not the game install)
- launch the game again
