Best way to have a command to run other commands (Like /function)

I have a paper server with multiple plugins on and I'm wanting to have a script or something when I run certain commands to run several commands, some vanilla but most from other plugins.

I have just found out (the hard way) that datapacks that use functions only work with vanilla commands and not ones with plugins. Is there anything built-in to paper/spigot that allows this?
